Each ticket's QR code changes every 15 seconds. A screenshot or photocopy stops working, so tickets can't be faked or passed around.
The door scanner admits each ticket once. A second scan of the same ticket is refused on the spot, even on another phone.
Buying from a friend? Check a ticket to confirm it's genuine. Official transfers cancel the old ticket and issue a new one.
